Compressor can automatically encode media placed in designated folders and is optimized for Apple silicon, including M3 Pro, M3 Max, and M2 Ultra chips, ensuring fast and efficient performance.

Compressor also streamlines iTunes Store package creation by organizing movies, trailers, subtitles, and related assets to meet delivery requirements. Audition tools help verify audio and subtitle synchronization, while built-in error detection assists in identifying package issues. Support is included for HDR video and Dolby Vision when creating iTunes Store packages.

The application supports encoding in a wide range of industry-standard formats, including numerous image sequence formats, and enables creation and delivery of closed captions. Lossless format conversion is supported, along with wide color gamut processing, LUT application, timecode overlays, watermarks, frame-rate conversion, and speed adjustments. Users can convert Log-encoded footage using built-in or custom camera LUTs and transcode ProRes RAW into other formats.
